No matter what operating system you use this Acer Aspire 5515 boot cd will automatically start up and give you a windows like graphic user interface.

This interface shows all your Aspire 5515 hard disk contents and also your cds and or USB key content. This is an operating system with built in data recovery software written in house and only available through us. This CD does not need to be installed! What this means is that no files are transferred or installed onto your Aspire 5515 in any way, obviously imperative for data recovery.

So to summarize quickly, you literally put this cd in and reboot your machine. Next you will see a few dialog boxes as the system boots up into a completely self contained operating system .

Most computers have the ability to boot from CD but are not set up to do it.
In this case you might need to restart the PC and enter BIOS setup or BIOS features by pressing Delete or another hardware specific key on BIOS screen start-up.
When you configure the boot medium remember that it doesn't have to be the CD exclusively or even first .. it's fine to sequence a floppy drive before the CD .
All you need is to ensure that the CD is present as a recognized boot source and is setup to boot before the hard disk.
Save the new configuration and you should be ready to start.

DATA RECOVERY how do I do it with this cd?
The first thing you will want to do is copy your important data off of your defective system onto another type of media.
We recommend using a USB key memory stick thumb drive

To recover the data using this method, all you need to do is boot up the cd as described above and plug in the USB once you see the graphical user interface.

When you plug this key in it will appear on the desktop, much like windows. All you need to do is to do then is click on the disk icon on the bottom of the screen labelled numus data recovery cd
